The Hospitality Ministry of Tesano Baptist Church, Accra follows the principles and practices of the constitution of Tesano Baptist Church for the purposes of: 
1. Preserving the principles of faith, based solely on scripture. 
2. Promoting peace, love, brotherliness, fellowship and the fear of God among the members of the Hospitality Ministry and the people we come into contact with.

Definitions of Hospitality: 
● The warm or friendly reception of visitor’s guests or strangers 
● The quality or disposition of receiving and treating visitors 
● The opposite of the word hospitable is hostile 
● Hospitability can be synonymous to the following words 
i. Cordiality 
ii. Kindness 
iii. Welcoming 
iv. Sociability 
v. Neighborliness

● The act of being hospitable is a gesture of giving, where you give your smile, your time, your energy and sometimes money in the form of refreshment or food. 
● The bible admonishes us to be give because there is more blessing in giving than receiving.

HOSPITALITY MINISTRY AT TESANO BAPTIST CHURCH 

The hospitality ministry at Tesano Baptist Church is an umbrella ministry which comprises three wings as illustrated in the diagram below.

LOVE - THE MAIN INGREDIENT OF HOSPITALITY
We must love one another, and be Christ minded. In John 13; 1-; 14-17 Jesus himself takes off his clothes and washes the feet of his disciples. Washing of feet was an act of hospitality in those days and he commissions us all to go and do as he has done. By doing so, we have demonstrate love.

MEMBERSHIP
A member of the Hospitality Ministry must: 
▪ Be a born-again Christian who is committed to living and growing like our lord Jesus Christ. 
▪ Believe in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19a) which says: 
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations..." ▪ Be a people-centered person, and must have a passion for souls.

ADMISSION
Unless there is an objection, a member shall be admitted into the ministry by a simple acclamation/acceptance vote by members present. 
All objections shall be addressed to the Standards Committee for review and advice.

MEETINGS 
General meetings:
A general meeting for all members shall be held every other Thursday unless there is a church program, or any related activity that necessitates a postponement. The meeting shall in such a situation be postponed to the following Thursday. 
The Thursday meetings shall be held online with the following details: 
Time : 7:00 - 8:00 pm 
Method : Zoom 
The meeting program and link shall be shared ahead of the meeting. 
 

Emergency meetings:
Emergency meetings may be called when necessary, either in-person or online, in order to attend to issues that need urgent attention. 

REPORTING/CLOSING TIMES Sunday First Service: 

The reporting time for the First Sunday service is 6:45am and closing time is 10:30am. 
 

Sunday Second Service:

 The reporting time for the Second Sunday service is 9:00am and closing time is 12:45pm.
