The goal of the Teens Ministry at TBC is to train and equip teenagers to become disciples and witnesses for Christ, and future leaders of the church. Children from the intermediary class transition to the ministry. The Teens’ Ministry has over 150 young people who meet every Sunday at the Teens’ Chapel. There are several activities which keep young people engaged at church and support their spiritual growth.
The following are the activities the young people enjoy at the Teens’ Ministry.
Sunday Service
A vibrant worship service every Sunday from 07:30 am to 10:00 am. The service includes praises and adoration, Bible reading, prayer, preaching, offering, singing hymns, and sharing fellowship to the glory of God. Every teen is encouraged to engage in Chapel duties, which include ushers, MCs, Choristers, dancers, dramatists, instrumentalists, preachers, organizers, and prayer warriors
Sunday School
There are four Sunday School classes that meet every Sunday to study and apply the Word of God. They use the same study material as the whole church.
Quarterly quiz
As part of equipping and ensuring that the teens are empowered in the word of God, the ministry organizes quarterly quizzes for the four (4) Sunday schools.
Teens week
An annual celebration of the of the goodness and faithfulness of God by the teens. This is a fun-filled week, which includes camping, sharing the gospel with other young people and recounting the activities of the youth for the year. The annual camp meetings are a source of inspiration, motivation and invaluable learning experiences.
Annual Get-Together
